A special edition prayer bracelet inspired by Pastor John F. Hannah of New Life Covenant Oakwood in Chicago

The “Calvary” Edition Bracelet

“I tossed and I turned and I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t sleep; then it hit me so hard that it brought me to tears!”

This is truly a revelation I received after the sermon Pastor John F. Hannah depicted on Sunday, April, 1, 2007.  The “Death Chamber” was the topic of the sermon.  The explanation of how Jesus was crucified was so treacherous that when the sermon was over it brought me to tears.  But then I couldn’t sleep a few nights later.  The depiction just stayed in my head and then it hit me.  I sat up at about 4 a.m. that morning and started to cry.  I asked” God what is it that you want me to get from this?” God instilled a thought in my mind to make a bracelet depicting the “Calvary”.  So the following is what the bracelet means and the colors.  I thank God for speaking through my Pastor to lead us, teach us, and to spread and teach each other the Word of God!"The “Calvary” Edition Bracelet Description:The wooden beads represent the part of the Cross that he carried up to Calvary. The red beads represent the blood that he shed after they whipped, beat, and shredded the skin from his back with a weapon called the phlagrim. The purple represents the robe that they put on him as he struggled to walk up to the place where he was to be crucified.   The three crosses represent the two thieves crucified with Him, one on the right hand, and another on the left." Matthew 27:38. The black beads represent that he died on that cross for our sins. Finally, the clear represents that he now lives inside of us "through" the Holy Spirit.

The Story Behind “The Kingdom” Necklace

Featuring "The Kingdom" Necklace.  This necklace design ended up being a special request for a Pastor.  He had previously purchased a prayer bracelet and asked for a matching necklace. After service that Friday evening, we weren't able to stay and ask him specifically what he wanted on the necklace.  But let me tell you how God Works! The Pastor’s wife called regarding the necklace.  The Pastor’s birthday was coming up so she wanted us to present the necklace to him at the following service. My husband had no idea at first how to design it, but the Holy Spirit spoke to my husband and told him exactly what to put on the necklace and what each section means. After we made the necklace we were so moved by how the Holy Spirit workend through us, we couldn't wait to present it to him!  The necklace was packaged up and presented to the Pastor.  The necklace nearly brought him to tears.  After we explained what each section meant he said, ”This is exactly what I wanted!”  So, thank you Holy Spirit and Pastor Jourdan Smith of Freedom in Faith Ministries in Naperville, IL. Below is the Kingdom Necklace description:

The first 12 beads on each side represent the Twelve Disciples. The next 9 beads on each side represent the 9 Jehovah names of God. The remaining 66 beads represent each book of the Bible. The necklace is made of rosewood beads and the finest pure sterling silver components.  The wooden beads represent the cross that he died on for our sins.

We got such a huge response from this necklace that we also make it for women! But where the 12 disciples and the 9 Jehovah names of God are they are in Red and Purple Checz Glass Beads!

Hi Melody & Darryl,

My daughter wears her Proverbs 31 bracelet everyday and she knows that after I gave that to her, everything on her part time job and her move came into place.  I also believe it.  She was feeling so down, but when she hugged me and told me thanks for the bracelet and that she would say that verse everyday, things started happening for her.  She is smiling now and I'm so happy to see that.

May God bless you and your family!

Hi Melody,

I like to thank you for the "Faith bracelet" that I received from you and your husband.During that time in December 2006 when I first met you,I was feeling empty and lonely in my relationship.I carried the "Faith bracelet" in my purse and slept with it under my pillow praying that things would improve. This Janurary 2007 I noticed a great improvement in my relationship and my life. I'm enjoying the blessing that I have from God. I now have Faith that God's blessing are not always on my time and I have Faith that I will always be happy and Blessed. I still carry my bracelet with me everyday and sleep with it as a reminder to have Faith
in God.

Hi Darryl and Melody!

You two have been so sweet and wonderful to me.  I really appreciate the both of you.  Running into the two of you was really a blessing and I've really been inspired about life itself, and I can honestly say it has been because of the two of you!

How many people - black or white would trust a stranger with over $100 in prayer jewelry (Women's "Kingdom" Necklace, The "Calvary" Bracelet, Proverbs 31 & "The Glory" Bracelet).  I know it was God working the two of you, my house being sold and my daughter finding a safe haven.  This is all with "Trusting in the Lord".

Thanks for everything and I will always keep you in my prayers!

God Bless!
